Perfect Attendance Bonus-Spring Semester

The District has released its notification for the PERFECT ATTENDANCE
INCENTIVE and SICK DAY BUY BACK BONUS plans mandated by the P.E.A. contract.

Included in the Perfect Attendance Incentive Plan are the following
provisions:

*                       1O MONTH EMPLOYEES cannot have missed any days from
February 1 through the last day of school in June.  Neither bereavement nor
professional days can be counted against this incentive.

*                       12 MONTH EMPLOYEES  "semester" runs from January 1
through June 30.  In addition to bereavement and professional days,
identified vacation days do not count against this incentive.

Included in the Sick Day Buy Back Plan are the following provisions:

*     Available to staff members who have completed their third year

*     Staff members who have had no more than three (3) absences deducted
from their accumulated sick day bank all year are eligible for this program.

*     Eligible employees may sell back to the District not less than five
(5) accumulated days or more than ten (10) days.

*     Professional Staff receive $ 125 per day sold back; Support Staff
receive $60 per day

PLEASE NOTE:

*     Days "sold back" will be removed from the participating staff member's
sick leave bank.

*     Participation in BOTH programs is permitted for those who qualify.

*     The same application form is used for both or either program.
Eligibility is first claimed by submitting the application.  Eligibility is
verified by the District after receipt.

*     Application forms are due in the Staff Attendance Office no sooner
than June 26 but no later than July 2.

*     Bonus payment for semester (half year) perfect attendance is $250.

Ask your school secretary for application forms.  All worksites have
received copies of the application form.
